Radiation Therapist (Planner)

GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist with a strong interest in treatment planning to join our supportive team on a permanent full-time basis, working across our St Leonards and Crows Nest clinics.

This role offers the opportunity to develop and strengthen your planning capability, while also contributing to high-quality treatment delivery. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team, with access to advanced technology and a strong clinical support network.

As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centred radiotherapy, with a particular focus on planning activities and continuous clinical development.

Excellent remuneration is on offer, with an annual salary of up to $113,382 + superannuation (dependent on experience).

More specifically, you will:

• Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
• Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
• Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
• Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
• Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
