GenesisCare now has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Radiation Therapist to join our supportive team at our Darlinghurst clinic, located within the St Vincent’s Hospital campus.

As a Radiation Therapist you are responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities.

Excellent remuneration available, annual salary of up to $113,382 + superannuation (dependant on experience).

More specifically, you will:

• Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
• Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
• Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.Experience with Monaco Treatment Planning System.
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
• Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
• Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
