Shape something new – an exciting opportunity is on the horizon in Melbourne’s West.

GenesisCare is opening a new Cancer Centre in Werribee, in partnership with St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee. This purpose-built centre will expand access to high-quality cancer care for a rapidly growing community, and we’re now building the team who will bring it to life.

We’re looking for Radiation Therapists who are not only clinically capable, but genuinely motivated by patient care and the opportunity to help establish a new service. Joining at this stage means you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping workflows, team culture and the overall patient experience.

As a Radiation Therapist, you’ll be involved across the full treatment pathway, from simulation through to delivery, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, precise and compassionate care.

More specifically you will:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments in line with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Participate in CT simulation, treatment planning and treatment deliveryCollaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists and the wider care team.
• Support patients throughout their treatment journey with clear communication and compassionate care.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Play an active role in shaping team culture and establishing ways of working in a new centre.

We’d love to hear from those that have:

• Qualification in Radiation Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Clinical experience in radiation therapy.
• A patient-centred approach with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safe practice.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a new team environment.
• Adaptability and a positive approach to change and growth.
