This 12-month opportunity offers full-time hours across a 4-day work week, giving you an extra day every week to support a healthier work life balance while maintaining a consistent Monday to Friday routine.

You will be based in Newcastle, working as part of a collaborative radiation oncology team that operates closely with our Maitland site to deliver high quality care to patients across the region.

This role offers a salary of up to $113,382 + superannuation, recognising your expertise and the impact you bring.

More specifically, you will:

• Personally undertake radiation therapy planning, pre-treatment and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
• Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Current Australian Radiation Use Licence (state-specific requirements apply).
