What we are looking for:

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife (dual registrations as Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse would highly regarded)
  • Ability to work on a permanent full time or permanent part time basis (ideally 36 hours per week) however we do offer flexible rostering options to support your work/life balance
  • Willingness to be a positive team member with an attitude to support others and problem solve efficiently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements
  • Current clinical knowledge and critical thinking ability

Remuneration: Remuneration for the role ranges from (RN Level 1 - 7) $43.59 - $56.02 per hour + superannuation, based on experience level/qualifications.

St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our maternity unit is run by a team of experienced midwives, breastfeeding consultants and nursing staff.
