We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team at our new Werribee clinic, located at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, on a casual basis.

In this role, you’ll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to provide safe, evidence-based care. You’ll also play a key role in creating a supportive environment for patients and their families, building meaningful connections and helping them feel informed and cared for throughout their treatment journey.

More specifically, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care that supports both the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients
• Provide hands-on care, including patient education, wound management, and medication administration in line with clinical guidelines
• Coordinate and manage daily patient workflows to ensure care is safe, efficient, and timely
• Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, and Patient Services teams to ensure seamless, coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and follow-up requirements
• Adhere to established clinical procedures, protocols, and best practice standards in radiation oncology
• Apply medication safety and management protocols consistently
• Use ISBAR communication to support effective handovers and collaboration with allied health professionals
• Demonstrate reliability, adaptability, motivation, and a strong team-oriented mindset

We're interested in hearing from people who:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• At least two years of post‑graduate nursing experience preferred
• Oncology experience is valued, with training provided for the right candidate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to show empathy and compassion
• Well-developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to best practice care, continuous improvement, and adherence to NSQHS standards
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and learning
• Experience in wound care management
