Registered Nurse - Community

About this role:

Programmed Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our community nursing team to provide care and improve health outcomes for our Veteran (DVA) and Aged community clients in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs. This is a great way to experience work-life balance in a friendly team environment.

You will be required to be available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and rotational weekends, from 8.00am.

You will be required to visit multiple clients in different locations within their own homes.

You will be paid for the full shift, including the times you travel between clients. A KM allowance is also included.

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, and with the guidance of other Registered Nurses, you will receive support during your work across the community care sector.

The following are essential in order to progress your application:

• A minimum of 12 months as a Registered Nurse experience within an in-home/community or aged care facility setting
• Frist Aid and CPR
• Full Covid Vaccination (3 doses)
• Flu Vaccination
• Current AHPRA Registration
• 2 professional references from previous supervisors or managers
• Good time management skills
• Your own reliable vehicle
• Current drivers licence
• Current police clearance certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
• Access to personal computer/email and printer
• Customer-focused approach to your work
• Your own reliable motor vehicle, registered and fully insured
