About the Role
This dynamic role will be responsible for the clinical assessment and ongoing care of inpatients and outpatients attending Medical Imaging for diagnostic and Interventional Procedures including MRI, PET and Recovery Room. Working in a multidisciplinary team environment, you will also provide nursing support for patients requiring Interventional procedures performed across Medical Imaging including Cardiac Stress testing and Interventional Angiography
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253 - $92,601 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
- Current AHPRA registration
- Committed to continuous improvement, best practice and safety
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate team outcomes in a multidisciplinary environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels
- Current nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
- Previous Medical Imaging Experience with Interventional procedural skills
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About the Medical Imaging Department
The Medical Imaging Department provides diagnostic and interventional imaging to both St Vincent’s public and private hospitals. The Medical Imaging Nurse works as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide nursing care for these patients.
