We’re currently looking for a compassionate and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our friendly team at our Fiona Stanley Hospital clinic on a 12-month part-time basis (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday).

Fiona Stanley Hospital is a leading tertiary hospital in Western Australia, known for its advanced facilities, multidisciplinary approach, and strong focus on patient-centred care.

Every day, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our patients throughout their radiotherapy treatment journey—helping them feel informed, supported and cared for at every stage.

More Specifically you will:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Deliver radiotherapy nursing care, including patient preparation, education, treatment support and management of side effects
• Foster a compassionate environment for our patients and their families
• Provide clear, informative and empathetic patient education
• Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Patient Services Officers and the broader multidisciplinary team
• Maintain patient safety and organisational standards by adhering to policies and procedures
• Contribute positively to team goals and initiatives
• Bring a proactive, enthusiastic and “can-do” attitude to the workplace

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated clinical experience and strong nursing competency (oncology experience highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong patient-first approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement and ongoing professional development
