The Role:
We are seeking compassionate, skilled, and team-oriented Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team at West Coast District Hospital, providing care across:

• Emergency First Response Care
• Sub-Acute Inpatient services
• Residential aged care home

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care in accordance with professional standards and best practice guidelines.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and actively participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Engage in professional development and support the learning of others through orientation and preceptorship.

You will need:

• Clinical Capability: Sound knowledge of nursing principles and the ability to apply them across emergency, inpatient, and aged care settings.
• Teamwork & Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to Quality: Understanding of continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time and part time, shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: 
$78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
