Registered Nurse - Theatre

Skills & Experience:

• MUST HAVE NZ ORTHOPAEDIC THEATRE EXPEREINCE
• Registered nurse with current annual practicing certificate
• Sound clinical expertise in theatre and well developed nursing skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong problem solving capability
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong focus on delivering quality care with optimal patient outcomes

About the role:
Work for a North Shore private surgical and in-patient hospital, you will be a part of a team who specialises in a wide range of surgical procedures (orthopaedic and general). You will support leading surgeons and a nursing team known for their outstanding practice and exceptional standards.

What you have to do:

• Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and assessment skills
• Prepare theatre pre and post operatively
• Scrub and circulate during elective surgeries/ procedures
• Evaluate effectiveness of clinical care and adjust patient care interventions
• Support and manage clinical emergencies and complex clinical situations
• Evaluate health outcomes to refine care pathways and protocols
• Comply with Clinical Standards of Practice and Health and Safety guidelines
