ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently looking for Nurses to join our Private Radiology nursing team in Warrnambool. As a Medical Imaging Nurse, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of nursing care for both inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures. Servicing both private hospital and community-based clinics this role offers a diverse and interesting range of patient presentations.

Our Nursing team provides pre, peri and post examination care for patients undergoing General X-ray, CT, MRI Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy. You will be a key team member of this specialised environment. Experience in Radiology is desired but not essential as on the job training will be provided.

ABOUT YOU
• Current APHRA registration
• COVID Vaccination essential as per Victorian Government requirements
• Strong patient centred care approach with an ability to effectively build patient relationships
• Cannulation qualification will be a requirement of the role, training support will be provided to achieve this outcome
• Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
