ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Busselton team on a Part-Time, or Casual basis.

Working for Apex Radiology - Busselton, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients undergoing a range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. You'll be a part of a supportive and dynamic nursing team, reporting directly to the Nurse-in-Charge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
  • Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations (including IV cannulation).
  • Assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and angiography.
  • Monitor and support patients during recovery post-procedure.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection.
  • Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling.

ABOUT YOU

  • Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Qualification in IV Cannulation (essential).
  • Advanced Life Support certification (preferred).
  • Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing (advantageous).
  • Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
  • High level of personal presentation and professionalism.
