We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our welcoming team at our Frenchs Forest clinic on a 9-month part-time basis (4 days per week).

In this role, you’ll be supported by a close-knit, collaborative team where your expertise is valued. You’ll have the opportunity to work across radiation oncology, medical oncology and haematology, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Every day, you’ll play an important part in supporting patients through their journey, helping to ensure they feel cared for, informed and supported at every step.

More Specifically you will:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapies and blood transfusions
• Deliver radiotherapy nursing care, including patient preparation, education, treatment support and management of side effects
• Foster a compassionate environment by supporting the emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of patients and their families
• Provide clear and informative patient education
• Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Haematologists and the broader multidisciplinary team
• Maintain patient safety and organisational standards by following policies and procedures
• Contribute positively to team goals and initiatives
• Bring a proactive, enthusiastic and “can-do” attitude to the workplace

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated clinical experience and strong nursing competency (oncology experience highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement and ongoing professional development
