Registered Nurse/Practice Nurse

What you have to do

• Provide accurate nursing assessments of patients such as vaccinations, smear taking, and swabbing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
• Engage and educate patients to enhance their wellbeing, with appropriate referral to other services
• Attend CPD opportunities and trainings when needed
• Form professional relationships with RN’s, and GP’s

Skills and Experience

• Registered with the New Zealand Nursing Council with a current APC
• Prior experience as a Practice Nurse or Community Nurse is preferred
• Vaccinator and smear-taking certificate preferred
• The ability to work autonomously but also as a team
• Knowledge of Medtec32 is also preferable
