About the Role

We are seeking experienced Correctional / Prison Health Registered Nurses to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, youll provide high-quality, compassionate care to inmates within correctional facilities, supporting their health and wellbeing in a unique and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for patients in a correctional setting.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and facility protocols.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and manage patients with acute and chronic health needs.
• Promote health education and preventive care tailored to the correctional population.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical officers, mental health professionals, and custodial staff.
• Uphold infection control standards, safety protocols, and ethical nursing practices.

Skills & Experience

• AHPRA Registered Nurse (Division 1) essential
• Full working rights in Australia essential
• Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience
• Previous experience in Correctional / Prison Health highly regarded
• Willingness to support workforce needs in correctional settings
