About the role:

If you are a Registered Nurse and have less than twelve (12) months experience in an acute healthcare facility, we have an excellent opportunity to join St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) ST RAPHAELS WARD - MEDICAL UNIT within our supportive New Practitioner Program.

• 0.8FTE permanent position within our medical department
• 11mth supportive New Practitioner Program commences from your date of hire
• Rostering includes public holidays, weekends, and rotating day/evening/night shifts

GRADUATE INFORMATION SESSION:

An Information Session about the New Practitioner Program offered at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba will be held between 1530 - 1630hrs on Tuesday 8th September 2026 in the ACU Room within the Clinical School, L2 (Entrance 4).

During this session, the Staff Learning & Development Manager and Clinical Nurse Educators responsible for the New Practitioner Program will be available to discuss the content of the programs as well as answer any questions you may have. • the details of at least two (2) clinical referees who are aware and willing to be contacted to provide a reference (your referee's must be either a clinical teacher, preceptor, or other senior nurse that you have reported to at a clinical placement)

• APHRA Registration certificate or indication of eligibility for registration as a Registered nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Nurses and Midwives board (AHPRA)
• Eligibility to work in Australia with VISA evidence supplied
