Talent Quarter are delighted to be supporting our growing client within the mental health sector to add an experienced Registered Psychologist to join their team in their new clinic based in Melbourne.

The company

You will be joining a rapidly growing team of mental health professionals whose vision is to support their clients and families in accessing neurodevelopmental assessments and mental health services.

The role

As a Registered Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adolescents.

Your responsibilities will extend to implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to individualised plans, aiming to support both the patients and their families who utilise our services.

In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for emotional, cognitive & behavioural functioning
  • Develop personalised treatment plans and monitor progress throughout, adjusting treatment strategies when necessary
  • Lead individual, group or family therapy sessions
  • Offer crisis intervention and support for patients in acute psychological distress or emergencies
  • Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches


About you


To be considered for the role of Registered Psychologist, you will have exceptional attention to detail with at least 1 year experience of working as a Psychologist with extensive experience of conducting ASD & ADHD assessments within this time.



In addition to this, you will also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, accompanied by relevant registration with AHPRA
  • Experienced in the use of WISK, MIGDAS and/or ADOS2
  • Proficiency in the application of diverse therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), psycho dynamic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to function effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment, while also demonstrating autonomy when necessary
  • Dedication to continuous professional development, staying abreast of advancements within the field
