Facility Manager | Large Aged Care Facility

• Work Type: Full-time, Permanent

• Salary: $165,000 – $185,000 + Superannuation

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager with a strong clinical background to lead one of our large residential aged care facilities located in Melbourne’s West.

Reporting to executive leadership, you will take overall operational responsibility for the home, ensuring outstanding clinical governance, strong financial and occupancy performance, compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, and a positive culture for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day operations, financial management, and resource allocation.

• Oversee clinical governance, AN-ACC operations, and continuous quality improvement.

• Lead, recruit, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to foster high performance and staff retention.

• Maintain strict compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.

• Drive occupancy strategies and build strong relationships with residents, families, and community stakeholders.

Selection Criteria

• Qualifications: Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) is mandatory.

• Management Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Facility Manager (or General Manager) leading large residential aged care facilities.

• Industry Experience: Extensive, hands-on experience in Australian residential aged care is necessary.

• Skills: Strong clinical governance, AN-ACC management, financial acumen, and proven leadership abilities.

• Work Rights: Must be available for full-time work with full Australian work rights.
