About the Role
As a senior Carer Peer support worker you will be providing intentional peer support for families, carers and supporters of consumers who access the Hawthorn Mental Health Program.
- Offer 1:1 support for families, carers, supporters accessing Hawthorn clinic
- Coordinate and facilitate a group for carers
- Work in collaboration with treating teams across the clinic
Classifications for this position will range from MP36 to MP39($76,086 - $83,168 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
- Completed intentional peer support and supervision training
- Must have a lived experience of caring and supporting someone with a mental illness
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
