Fixed-term, Full-time (ASAP 1 February 2027, with possible 12-month extension)
Salary package up to $189,005 per annum

We are seeking a motivated and capable Senior Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join the team a dedicated team. This accredited senior registrar role is ideal for a Level 5 or 6 trainee looking to consolidate advanced clinical and surgical skills in a supportive tertiary setting.
You will step into a senior role with genuine responsibility while continuing to refine your expertise across obstetrics and gynaecology.

What youll gain
  • Tertiary-level exposure to antenatal and intrapartum care
  • Labour ward leadership and complex case management
  • Ultrasound experience
  • Consolidation of surgical skills, including laparoscopic surgery
  • Supervision and mentorship of Registrars and Resident Medical Officers
  • 10 hours of protected training time per fortnight
This role provides a strong platform for transition into specialist practice.

The role
You will:
  • Provide high-level clinical care across obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Support and supervise junior medical staff
  • Participate in teaching and training activities
  • Contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
Essential requirements
  • General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable)
  • Ongoing compliance with professional registration requirements
Highly desirable:
  • Successful completion of the RANZCOG examination
