Senior Registrar/Registrar Internal Medicine

The Role:
We are looking for Senior Medical Registrar's/Registrars to join a dedicated team working in a progressive Hospital. Positions accredited for 12 months BPT/18 months of AT.

The Medical Registrars are directly responsible to the attending Physician for day-to day patient management.

The successful applicants will have well-developed time management and problem-solving skills, the ability to priorities tasks and work under minimal supervision. Applicants should also possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment. A sound knowledge of computer-based software applications including Word/Excel/database management systems is also required.

The team comprises of:
10 Specialists
15 Registrars
On call 1:4
45 Medical beds (increasing to 60)
Competitive salary as per state award up to $172,000

Skills & Qualifications required:
Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Medical Practitioner with at least three years experience in General Medicine
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate positively with and appropriately with patients and others.
