Senior Specialist / Specialist Interventional Radiology

An exciting permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiologist to join a leading tertiary referral service in coastal North Queensland.

Applicants must hold:

• FRANZCR Part II or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
• Appropriate experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology

Internationally trained specialists assessed as substantially comparable with be considered.

The opportunity
You will provide specialist radiology services across a broad range of imaging modalities within a busy tertiary environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing Tier A and Tier B interventional procedures
• Providing high-quality diagnostic reporting
• Managing a varied and complex tertiary-level case mix
• Collaborating with medical, nursing and allied health teams
• Teaching and supervising registrars, fellows and junior medical staff
• Contributing to clinical governance, research and quality improvement
• Supporting contemporary, evidence-based and patient-centred care

Remuneration and benefits

• Total remuneration from approximately $436,406 to $546,127 per annum
