Cabrini Women's Mental Health Service
At Cabrini Women's Mental Health, we proudly operate Australia's premier private, women-only mental health service, housed within the Lisa Thurin Women's Health Centre. How you will make an impact as a Social Worker
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Woker to join our dynamic team focused on women's mental health. Your success in this role will be in your ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, demonstrate flexibility, and provide exceptional care across three service areas: inpatient, day program, and outpatient individual therapy.
This rewarding position offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated team in a safe environment, with structured support and supervision to ensure your professional growth and development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to patient-centered care and contribute to our ongoing efforts to improve the mental health and well-being of the women we serve.
Desirable criteria:
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably within private mental health
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating and leading group therapy sessions
- Proficiency in various treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), etc.
- Strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by women in the context of mental health
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mental Health settings
- Preferred candidate should be able to work weekends (half days or full days)
To be considered for this role you will also hold:
- Police Record Check.
- Registration with relevant governing body.
- Vaccination requirements
