Sonographer

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skill sonographer to come and join a close knit team working in Taupo in the central North Island. The role is available June and is great for work/life balance working full time, Mon-Fri business hours, 37.5hrs/week. You will be joining a close knit team of 8 staff working with 1 other sonographer doing general, small parts, obstetrics and MSK. The company looks after their staff, they like to nurture them, provide them with upskilling opportunities and support them wherever possible. It is a great opportunity to come and be part of a fun team!

What you have to do:
• Conduct ultrasounds in a professional and efficient manner
• Showcase quality in your ultrasound imagery
• Accurately inform patients on their examinations and procedures
• Engage with patients with a high standard of customer-service
• Work methodically and collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team

Skills and Experience:
• Hold a current New Zealand registration and APC
• Open to those with 1+ year experience
• MSK experience preferred
• Overseas candidates welcome if you hold a current NZ registration-supervision hours can be accommodated
• Great communication skills and able to work well in a multidisciplinary team
