What you have to do

• Perform high-quality MSK ultrasound examinations independently
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for accurate image interpretations
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, adhering to safety protocols
• Accurately document patient information, clinical history, and ultrasound findings
• Comfort and educate patients, addressing their concerns and questions
• Stay updated with advancements in MSK ultrasound technology and techniques
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and efficiency

Skills and Experience

• Successful candidates MUST have Registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB)
• Successful candidates are required to be local as this organisation will not sponsor international candidates
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting a wide range of ultrasound examinations, particularly MSK ultrasound
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of and adherence to current safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology
