About the Role
Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a motivated and experienced Sonographer to join our growing team.
Reporting to the Chief Sonographer, you will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, vascular and obstetrics and gynaecology within a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
You'll work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team of Radiologists, O&G Sonologist, Sonographers, and administrative staff, all committed to delivering exceptional patient care across the Sunshine Coast.
With 13 clinics spanning Caloundra to Cooroy, including two hospital sites, Sunshine Coast Radiology provides comprehensive imaging services throughout the region - with an exciting new clinic opening at Maroochy Private Hospital in mid 2026.

Responsibilities include -
- Conduct a variety of scans including a mix of general, MSK, vascular, obstetrics and gynaecological studies.
- Enjoy a varied mix of hospital and private clinic work, as well as a state of the art, dedicated breast imaging clinic (if applicable)
- On-call work available.
- Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
- Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalized.
About You -
- Bachelor of Medical Sonography/Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with ASAR.
- Ideally 2+ years postgraduate ultrasound experience.
- An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, obstetrics and vascular with a keen interest in MSK.
- Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 5pm - 8am.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
- Experience with Canon is ideal.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
