The Opportunity
You will provide high-quality general surgical services across:

• Elective and emergency surgery
• Inpatient and outpatient care
• Clinical assessment and ongoing patient management
• Multidisciplinary clinical activities
• Clinical governance and quality improvement
• Development of regional surgical services

The appointment can be structured as a Staff Specialist or VMO position, with flexible hours available up to full-time. Classification and remuneration will be commensurate with experience.

About You
To be considered, you will:

• Hold FRACS in General Surgery or an equivalent specialist qualification
• Be eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrate broad competence and experience in General Surgery
• Be committed to safe, high-quality and patient-centred care
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrate an interest in clinical governance and service development
