Salary package up to $380k
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team at a key regional referral hospital in NSW.

The Opportunity
You will provide comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynaecology services across inpatient, outpatient, labour ward, theatre and on-call settings.
Key responsibilities include:

• Providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
• Managing acute and elective gynaecological presentations
• Undertaking gynaecological surgery
• Participating in clinics, theatre and the on-call roster
• Supervising junior doctors and GP Obstetricians
• Contributing to teaching, clinical governance and quality improvement
• Supporting the continued development of regional womens health services

Appointments may be considered under either a Staff Specialist or flexible VMO arrangement.
The Hospital
This Level 4 regional referral hospital provides Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Intensive Care, Oncology and other specialist services.
The department is supported by modern diagnostic facilities and experienced medical, midwifery, nursing and allied health teams.
About You
You will require:

• FRANZCOG and specialist registration with AHPRA; or
• Overseas specialist qualifications assessed by RANZCOG or eligible via expedited pathway
• Recent broad Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience
• Substantial gynaecological surgical experience
• Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills
• Availability to participate in the on-call roster
