Are you a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist looking for a rewarding career move, greater professional autonomy and a better work-life balance?
I am recruiting for several permanent Consultant/Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist opportunities across regional South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and the Northern Territory/NSW.

Why Consider Regional Australia?
Imagine building a rewarding specialist career while living somewhere your commute is measured in minutes rather than hours.
Depending on the location, you could enjoy:
  • Tropical beaches, islands and year-round outdoor living
  • Spectacular coastlines, national parks and mountain ranges
  • Fishing, boating, hiking, cycling and camping
  • Award-winning wineries and outstanding local produce
  • Affordable housing and a significantly lower cost of living
  • Excellent schools and welcoming, family-friendly communities
  • Short commutes and more time for family, travel and recreation
  • The opportunity to become a trusted and valued member of the community
Regional practice also offers a broad and varied clinical caseload, greater professional autonomy and the opportunity to influence how womens health services are developed and delivered.
These roles offer the chance to deliver comprehensive womens health services while joining supportive multidisciplinary teams and making a genuine difference to regional communities.

The Opportunities
Depending on the location and your clinical interests, positions may include:
  • General obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
  • Emergency and elective gynaecological services
  • Outpatient clinics and procedural work
  • Participation in a shared on-call roster
  • Clinical leadership and service development
  • Teaching and supervision of junior doctors and trainees
  • Quality improvement, clinical governance and research
Full-time and part-time opportunities may be considered, with attractive remuneration packages and flexible working arrangements available across selected locations.

Whats on Offer?
Packages vary between locations and may include:
  • Highly competitive consultant remuneration
  • Employer superannuation contributions
  • Salary packaging benefits
  • Professional development allowances and leave
  • Relocation assistance
  • Visa sponsorship for eligible international specialists
  • Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements
  • Private practice opportunities in selected locations
  • Support with medical registration and specialist pathway requirements
About You
You will hold:
  • MBBS or an equivalent primary medical qualification
  • Fellowship of RANZCOG or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
  • Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia, or eligibility to obtain registration
  • Strong clinical, communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
  • A commitment to high-quality, patient-centred womens healthcare
Internationally trained Obstetricians and Gynaecologists who are assessed as substantially comparable or Expedited Specialist Pathway are encouraged to enquire.
Whether you are looking for coastal living, a tropical lifestyle, a close-knit regional community or the opportunity to take on greater clinical leadership, I would be pleased to discuss the locations and positions that best match your experience, career goals and lifestyle preferences.
