The Role
Join a regional Anaesthesia team within a 305-bed regional referral hospital with:

• 4 operating theatres + 2 procedure rooms
• 8-bed ICU/HDU
• Integrated cancer care service

You will:

• Deliver high-quality perioperative and acute anaesthesia care
• Participate in acute pain rounds and pre-anaesthetic clinics
• Support a wide range of specialties (Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, ENT, Dental)
• Contribute to on-call roster (after-hours + weekends)
• Play a key role in clinical governance, safety, and service development

Teaching & Leadership

• Supervise ANZCA trainees + CICM trainees
• Mentor junior doctors and medical students
• Contribute to a strong education culture and structured training programs

About You

• Eligible for AHPRA Specialist Registration
• FANZCA (or substantially comparable SIMG)
• Strong generalist anaesthesia skillset
• Passion for teaching, teamwork, and regional medicine
