About the Role
We are seeking a skilled, team-oriented and enthusiastic Specialist/Consultant Gastroenterologist to provide high-quality gastroenterology services within a growing regional referral centre.
Key responsibilities include:

• Outpatient Gastroenterology Clinics
• Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy Services
• Participation in the weekday Gastroenterology Consultation Service
• Teaching and mentoring junior medical staff and medical students
• Contributing to service development, quality improvement and clinical governance activities

As part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in the continued expansion and enhancement of gastroenterology services across the region.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Gastroenterology or equivalent specialist qualification
• Extensive experience in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy
• Confidence working within a regional referral setting
• Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary team skills
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and mentoring junior clinicians
