We are seeking a Specialist or Senior Specialist to join its well-established Obstetrics and Gynaecology service. This is an opportunity to work as a generalist across both obstetrics and gynaecology in a modern, digitally enabled hospital, supported by a collaborative and welcoming medical team.

The role
  • Generalist O&G workload across obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Patient-centred care with a strong focus on women and families

  • Permanent full-time (80 hrs p.f.) or part-time options available
The unit has approximately 1200 deliveries per year. Many low-risk women are cared for by midwives antenatally and in labour. The hospital has a nursery capable of accepting babies from 31-32 weeks gestation.

About you
You will be:
  • A Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, or eligible for Specialist registration
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, with AHPRA
  • A Fellow of RANZCOG or eligible via the substantial comparability pathway
  • Able to demonstrate recent, relevant clinical practice across the scope of the role

Mandatory qualifications/Professional registration:
Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship with RANZCOG or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
