CC Medical is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist in General Medicine to join a major regional referral hospital in New South Wales.

The Opportunity
As a Staff Specialist in General Medicine, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based inpatient and outpatient care within a well-established regional health service.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient General Medicine services
• Managing a broad range of acute and complex medical presentations
• Providing clinical leadership, consultation and specialist advice
• Supervising junior medical officers and other healthcare professionals
• Contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education
• Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement and risk-management activities
• Supporting the ongoing development of safe, patient-centred services
• Participating in the General Medicine on-call roster

About You
To be considered, applicants should hold:

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General and Acute Care Medicine, or an equivalent specialist qualification
• Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, with the Medical Board of Australia through AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality General Medicine services
• Strong communication, teamwork and clinical leadership capabilities
• A commitment to education, clinical governance and continuous quality improvement

Internationally qualified specialists who have completed, or are progressing through, the relevant specialist assessment pathway are also encouraged to enquire.
