We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader within the Community Mental Health Team in Port Lincoln.

About the Role

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking a motivated and capable Team Leader (AHP3 / RN3A) to provide operational leadership within a multidisciplinary service environment.

This position is based in Port Lincoln, within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network. Key Duties
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate daily operations, workload allocation, and service priorities.
  • Support staff performance, development, and wellbeing through effective supervision and mentoring.
  • Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and change management initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Promote a collaborative, culturally safe, and inclusive work environment.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support integrated service delivery.
  • Monitor service activity, contribute to reporting, and assist with risk management and problem-solving.
About You
You are an experienced and approachable leader who demonstrates:
  • Eligibility for appointment at AHP3 or RN3A classification.
  • Proven leadership or coordination experience within a health or community services setting.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supporting and supervising staff within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to person-centred, culturally safe, and high-quality care.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and support service improvement initiatives.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and workplace health and safety requirements.
