Join our Mental Health Care Program as a Registered Nurse and grow your practice in a supportive, recovery-focused setting. You’ll deliver safe, person-centred care, build strong consumer relationships and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support positive mental health outcomes.

- • Deliver comprehensive mental health nursing care and case work
- • Build therapeutic relationships that support recovery goals
- • Coordinate care with health teams and community partners
- • Support and guide less experienced nursing staff
- • Maintain safe practice and grow skills through ongoing learning
RN-1 You bring a caring, organised approach and enjoy supporting consumers and clinical teams. Your skills, initiative and commitment to recovery help the ward deliver safe, high-quality care.
- Registered with NMBA and hold a current practising certificate
- Hold or working towards a recognised mental health nursing qualification
- Apply clinical skills to plan, implement and evaluate care
- Communicate effectively with consumers, carers and teams
- Use initiative and work collaboratively under limited supervision
- Registered with NMBA and hold a mental health nursing qualification
- Lead and support nurses, students and less experienced staff
- Deliver care to individuals with complex mental health needs
- Communicate confidently and manage workload under minimal supervision
- Apply knowledge of legislation, standards and recovery-based practice
