The opportunity
You will provide specialist General Medicine services across acute and inpatient settings while contributing to:
- Clinical leadership and multidisciplinary patient care
- Supervision and education of trainees, junior doctors and medical students
- Clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement
- Outreach and telehealth services across the wider region
- Research, teaching and academic medicine
- The current 1:3 after-hours consultant on-call roster
Remuneration and benefits
A total remuneration package of up to $572,732 per annum is available, including:
- 12.75% employer superannuation
- Professional development allowance of $22,145 per annum
- 3.6 weeks of professional development leave

- Inaccessibility allowance of $6,900

Applicants should hold:
- Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, with AHPRA
- FRACP in General Medicine or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality General Medicine services
- A commitment to clinical leadership, education and continuous improvement
