FEATURED JOBS

This program is designed to encourage colleagues, friends and family to nominate and then vote for a Nurse that they believe is a H.E.R.O. The competition began with nurses being nominated by their peers, followed by a voting period.

This year we received over 17,500 votes for our nominees and the winners listed above received the most votes out of the 32 nominees.

Each of our winners will receive a H.E.R.O. Nurse Service Award Plaque and have a donation of up to $5,000 made in their name to an Ansell supported charity of their choice.

Our three winners are truly H.E.R.O’s that are committed to their communities.

Cheryl Brooks has shared her knowledge and expertise with less fortunate colleagues in the Congo as part of the AusHEAL charity.

Jan Tate has dedicated her career to helping families and patients dealing with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and making the lives of these patients easier.

While Belinda Jensen has worked tirelessly to educate and support all staff in not only her specialty but in many others over the past 15 years.

“On behalf of Ansell, I’d like to congratulate Belinda, Jan and Cheryl on winning the 2016 competition,” said Andrew Barker, Medical Marketing Manager – ANZ.

“It is the highest honour to be recognised by your peers and Ansell is delighted to be able to shine a light on the exemplary work that you do caring for your patients and your peers on a daily basis.”

“I would also like to congratulate each of our 32 outstanding nominees and acknowledge their tireless contributions to the nursing profession,” he said.
